How to add Custom Menu to WordPress Themes 5/5 (100%) 3 votes

Today I am going to teach you how to add custom menu to WordPress theme. It is easy, you just need to follow my instructions.

To add custom menu in your WordPress site, please log in to the WordPress site dashboard. After log in to your dashboard now click on Appearance then Menus. 

Here you can create a new Custom Menu. Now click on (+) sign right after the Main Menu. Please see the image below.

Now give a name to your require menu and click Create Menu. See the image.

Now you have a custom menu ready to add on your site. Let’s add some page on the menu from lower left side. Just select your require pages that you want to show in your site then click Add to Menu. See the image below to get clear knowledge.

After adding pages to your custom menu, please remember to save the menu clicking on Save Menu. You can see the above image.

Now your Custom Menu is fully ready to go live in your site.

Now go to Widgets area by clicking Widgets under Appearance tab. In the widgets area you will see a new widgets named Custom Menu. 

Click on Add to add the Custom Menu widget to your site. See the image below.

Now you have to select your Menu Position where you want to show your custom menu. See the image below.

Now click Save Widget and you will see your custom menu live on your site.
